Give the Gift of Music: Donate an Instrument This July
This summer, you can help make music possible for a child in our community. As SONG prepares for another record-breaking season of free music programming, we’re asking our neighbours to dig deep into closets and attics and consider donating any gently used instruments that could find new life in the hands of a young musician.
We are especially in need of 1/2 and 3/4 size violins and guitars of all sizes, as these are critical to serving our younger students and waitlists in our popular Strings classes. But we’ll also gratefully accept donations of keyboards, drums, and full-size instruments too!
Every donated instrument means:
- One more child off a waitlist and into a class
- One more opportunity for a young person to feel seen and supported
- More Canadian culture being made right here by our local rural students
- One more note in the symphony of Northumberland’s future
