  • Location: Northumberland County, Ontario  
  • Term: 9 weeks, 30 hours/week  
  • Compensation: $25/hr

Note: this job is funded in part through Canada Summer Jobs. Successful applicants must be eligible to work in Canada and under the age of 30. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Media & Digital Wizardry: Be the voice of SONG online! You’ll jazz up our social media pages, keep our website tuned up with fresh content, and ensure our digital presence resonates with the community. Engage with our audience through compelling posts and updates.
  • Master of Details: From organizing documents to prepping for big events, your ability to manage details will help keep our tunes playing smoothly.
  • Fundraising & Community Connection: Assist in our fundraising efforts, keep in touch with our donors, and help us grow our community roots through engaging communication and meticulous record-keeping.
  • Program Support Dynamo: Support our diverse programming by keeping materials, registrations, and communications in tip-top shape. Represent SONG at various community events over the summer. 

Who We’re Looking For:

  • – A digital wizard with Google Workspace, MailChimp, Canva, and WordPress.
  • – An enthusiastic communicator who’s as comfortable online as they are talking at community events.
  • – Someone passionate about leveraging music to foster community ties and youth development.
