SONG has recently been asked to sing in the Ganaraska Chordsmen‘s spring concert and we are thrilled to be a part of it! Having seen their inaugural concert earlier this year, I know they pack the house and put on a fantastically entertaining show. Also, the President of the Ganaraska Chordsmen, Ted Devonshire, has been a supporter of SONG since our first year and we are so happy to get to make music with Ted this year!

The Ganaraska Chordsmen

Through Ted’s recommendations, SONG has been the recipient of several scholarships from Sing Canada Harmony. Most recently, SCH awarded SONG $1,000 to pay for two young musicians to enroll in SONG for the 2016-2017 season. In the 3+ years SONG has been operating, Sing Canada Harmony has donated $4,100 to our program! They helped us purchase all of our choral sheet music in year one, helped support several students along the way, and even helped us buy a keyboard for our Cobourg location last year.

We are so blessed and thankful for the local and national singers who believe in teaching our younger generation a love of music. We hope to see you at the Ganaraska Chordsmen’s concert in May 2017!
